FAQ - Semi-cured gel wraps
-
What are semi-cured gel nail wraps?
They’re real gel polish strips that are 60% cured — flexible enough to stretch and shape to your nail, then fully cured under a UV lamp for a glossy, long-lasting finish. They are made up of 3 layers depending on the nail design. Either a transparent or solid base, a colour or patterned layer, and finally a clear top coat which gives a glossy or matte finish.
-
How long do they last?
With proper prep and curing, our wraps last up to 10–14 days. We have customers that can go in excess of 3 weeks, however, we usually find by 14 days you’ll find it difficult to resist showing off a new design.
-
Do I need a UV lamp?
Yes — after applying, the wraps need to be cured under a UV lamp for 60–120 seconds to fully harden and seal. For a firmer nail with less flexibility we recommend curing for the full 120 seconds.
-
Will they fit my nails?
Each set includes 20 strips in various widths to suit most nail shapes and sizes. You can trim or stretch them both length & width wise slightly for a custom fit. There are two each of the following width in each set:
8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 10.5mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 16mm
Strip length is 24mm
-
How do I remove them?
Apply cuticle oil (or coconut oil) around the edges and gently lift using a wooden cuticle stick. Never peel or rip — as this will damage your natural nails.

-
Do they damage your nails?
No. When applied and removed correctly, following our video and written instructions, they’re far gentler than traditional salon gel or acrylics.
-
How are they different from polish or stickers?
They’re made from real gel polish, not plastic or vinyl. No drying time, no smudging, and they feel and wear like a salon manicure — just a little thinner and without the appointment.
FAQ - NATURAL SOY CANDLES
-
What are your candles made from?
Our candles are hand-poured in small batches using natural soy wax, clean, phthalate-free fragrance blends and essentials oils.
-
Where are they made?
Every candle is poured by hand in our kitchen studio in Darlington, Western Australia.
-
Are your candles eco-friendly?
Yes. We use soy wax (a renewable resource), lead-free cotton wicks, and recyclable jars. Our packaging is kept minimal and mindful.
-
How long do they burn for?
Burn time depends on the size of the candle and the environmental conditions. In our testing most of our candles last between 30 hours for our 250 gram candles and 70 hours for our 400 gram candles when cared for properly.
-
Do you use essential oils?
Yes. We use thoughtfully formulated essential oil blends in our candles, combined with phthalate-free fragrance oils for optimal scent throw and safety. Every scent is designed to evoke emotion, memory, or place - with no artificial or overpowering notes.
-
Why is it important to let my candle burn to the edges on the first use?
On the first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the jar. This help prevent tunnelling - when wax burns straight down the middle and leaves unused wax around the sides. A full melt pool sets the memory for your candle and ensures an even, longer-lasting burn every time. We find with our 400 gram candles this can take up to 4 hours on a very cold day.
